or 20 degree or below rated sleeping bag.
**Wool is highly recommended for cold weather for its ability to hold
in body heat even when wet. Fleece is also a good material for the
cold. Cotton is strongly discouraged because it absorbs water and
doesn't hold in heat when wet.
***Optional but a good idea to bring if you have it.
You should mark your name or initials on all items.
Do not feel the need to go
out and purchase new equipment if you don't have everything on the
list. However, please keep in mind that we plan on camping out a night
or two and we will be outside a lot, so come prepared for cold
weather, rain, and / or snow. If there is anything else that you feel
you may need (toothbrush, etc.) please bring it along. Also,
any camper medications should be given to a counselor upon arrival
along with instructions.
We will all be staying in the
upstairs of the Back Cabin (dining hall). The room is divided in two
so there will be separate boys and girls sides.
Arrival time is 4 p.m.
to 5 p.m. on December 27th.
Pickup time is 10 - 11 a.m. January 1st. During these times
we will have counselors in the parking lot to greet you and show
you where to go. If you are unable to show up during these times
please contact us ahead of time so that we know when to expect you
and have someone waiting in the parking lot.
If you have any questions
feel free to contact the camp at (812) 988-2698.
